Nate Collins, Founder and President
Nate was born in Texas, but spent most of his childhood living overseas in South America where his parents served as missionaries. After graduating from Moody Bible Institute in 2003 with a BA in Bible and Theology, he moved to Louisville, KY to attend the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He graduated with an MDiv in 2009, and then earned a PhD in New Testament in 2017. He has presented papers at academic conferences on the subjects of gender, sexuality, the Greco-Roman background of the New Testament, and related topics. He is a member of The Society for Biblical Literature, Institute for Biblical Research, and the Evangelical Theological Society.
In 2018, Nate began the ministry of Revoice, and serves as its founding President. He is the author of All But Invisible: Exploring Identity Questions at the Intersection of Faith, Gender, and Sexuality (Zondervan, 2017), as well as a forthcoming volume about gender and sexuality in the Biblical Theology for Life series from Zondervan Academic. Nate and his wife, Sara, live in St. Louis, MO with their three children.
Stephen Moss, Co-Founder and Vice President of Operations
Stephen was born and raised in Panama City, Florida, and graduated from Samford University with a BA in Journalism & Mass Communication. After college, he moved to Knoxville where he served on staff with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at the University of Tennessee. Stephen moved to St. Louis in 2013 to be begin studies at Covenant Theological Seminary, where he graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2016. The following year, Stephen accepted a position with FirstLight Ministries as Sexual Minority Ministry Coordinator.
Since first sharing his story publicly in 2013, Stephen has spoken and written about his experience as a Christian who is gay and celibate. Over the past few years, Stephen has played an active role in helping to build a vibrant, supportive, and edifying community for non-straight Christians in the St. Louis area.
Stephen lives in the DeBaliviere Place neighborhood of St. Louis, just north of the beautiful Forest Park. He enjoys hiking, sharing good food with friends, and spreadsheets.
Zach Meyer, Administrative Coordinator
Zach is a graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Management. His professional career has included working for Reformed University Fellowship as an intern, working in digital marketing at a software company, and marketing for a farm-to-table restaurant. He is currently pursuing degrees in Divinity and Counseling at Covenant Theological Seminary.
